My work focuses on portraiture, with a strong inclination toward the fantastic, the symbolic, and the macabre. Through an eclectic style, I explore the psychology and anatomy of the human body as both subject and symbol, blending philosophy, emotion, and aesthetics.
Inspired by classical realism and surreal imagination, I create my compositions using traditional oil painting techniques, supported by digital tools for initial sketches. The result is artwork rich in symbolism and emotional depth.
With over 25 years of experience in oil painting, my style is the result of a long personal and technical journey—from figurative realism to an intimate surreal universe where thought, feeling, and mystery converge.
Since the age of seven, art has been my refuge. I am largely self-taught but also trained through workshops, mentorships, and a solid academic background in art, where I honed my skills in drawing, painting, and artistic anatomy.
I don’t paint to be “the best.” I paint to move someone. If my work stirs emotions—even fear, if necessary—then it has fulfilled its purpose.
